Delivery
Feeding ourselves today means long waits, high risk, and more waste.
Let us help.
Design Goals
With multitudes of reports of drivers eating food from customer’s orders, new containers must inform a user if the food has been tampered with.
Increase Safety & Security
The increase of takeout waste caused by apps like Uber Eats is a massive environmental problem which needs to be mitigated.
Decrease Waste
Increasing the accuracy of tracking details is always a high priority of Uber Eats to give customers ease of mind.
Heightened Tracking
Initial Container Sketching
Box System
Box Details
The container expands to hold whatever a customer desires and restaurants can choose container options to suit their cuisine. After the food is eaten, the container can be collapsed down which allows the customer to easily pack down the container to drop off at a kiosk or participating restaurant.
Expand/Customize & Collapse/Transport
The containers are built to last through many wash cycles and can take a beating from being tossed in the trunk of a car to cuts from and abrasions from use while eating. Having smooth surfaces allows the containers to be easily cleaned off to prevent pathogens spreading.
Durable, Cleanable, and Reusable
Connected Device Details
Through NFC and the smartphones of restaurants, drivers and customers, the container is tracked from order to delivery without a hitch.
Tracking
When the delivery is received, a customer can detect if a driver opened the container past the initial plating. The customer will receive their money back, the driver will be penalized, and the order can be made again quickly.
